Music League Assistant

Powerful tools for Music League players and admins to create better prompts, organize round ideas, and plan balanced seasons.

Music League prompts fall into three primary categories: Rule-Based, Vibe-Based, and Story-Based. Understanding these categories helps designers create more engaging rounds and helps players understand what's being asked of them.

Rule-Based Prompts: Establish constraints or criteria. Can be objective (factually verifiable) or interpretive (subjective evaluation within a rule framework). Examples: “Songs under 2 minutes”, “Best sax solo”
Vibe-Based Prompts: Scenario/atmospheric prompts or metaphorical/sensory language describing a feeling. Examples: “Songs that feel like hot cocoa”, “Songs for being stalked in a horror movie”
Story-Based Prompts: About the relationship between a player and a song, not the song itself. Examples: “A song your dad made you listen to”, “First album you remember”
